Aims:
This annual event aims to give older people from the local community the opportunity to socialise with their peers, as well as improving relations with the students of Leeds University.
Objectives:
- To give older people a chance to mix with all ages, whilst enjoying an afternoon of tea and cake, accompanied by live entertainment from the students.
- To give students a unique chance to mix with older members of the local community, whilst gaining valuable volunteering experience.
Description:
We plan to host a tea party on the 17th February for approximately 250 older people from the local community. The afternoon will include refreshments and live entertainment provided by University students, as well as a raffle
