Aims:
Bridge the Gap aims to bring some fun to the lives of older people living in a care home in Leeds.
Objectives:
- Student volunteer meetings weekly with the residents of the care home to chat and befriend them
- Recruit volunteers to the project
- To help everyone get the most out of their time
Description:
The coordinators will meet the volunteers at an east meeting place e.g. the coop in Hyde Park and walk to the care home (Burley Willows). Here we will spend an hour playing dominos and bingo with the residents. Prizes will be needed.
