LUU Feminist Society was set up to provide a support network for all feminist members of Leeds University Union.
FemSoc is a friendly and passionate society, dedicated to raising awareness of feminist issues and creating a support network for all feminist and feminist-curious members of Leeds University Union.
We are a social as well as a campaigning society, and will be hosting a number of social events, including film showings, nights out and trips throughout the year. On top of all that, we’ll be hosting guest speakers and running various campaigns.
We are a society open to opinions and ideas, so if you feel like you have something to say about equality, women’s rights, or just general feminist banter, get in contact and get involved!
(p.s. Feminism is not just for women! Guys, let’s change outdated social perceptions of feminism. If you believe in equality, we could be the society for you!)
