Music Theatre

The Music Theatre society boasts a history of professional, high-quality shows with intimate casts of circa 10-20 performers.  We produce two musicals every year, with a focus on exploring new musicals or less well-known musicals.

We believe every member should be given the chance to reach their full dramatic potential, and so we give individual attention to every performer with an equal emphasis placed on singing, acting and dancing.

How you can get involved:

>We will be holding a 'Give it a Go' session early on in Semester One, providing you with a series of two workshops focussing on singing and acting through song.

>AUDITIONS for 'Spring Awakening', our Semester one show, taking place in November in the Riley Smith Hall.

>Don't like musical theatre but still want to get involved? EXCELLENT. We are always on the look-out for budding musical directors, instrumentalists, producers, costume designers, choreographers and any other components that are necessary in making a musical.  Come and find us at the Freshers Fair or email us at the address provided.

What to do now...

>Come and meet the team at the FRESHERS FAIR. 17th September for the International Fair and 21st September in the Riley Smith Hall for the Media Fair.  Here you can sign up to the mailing list and receive your very own 'Music Theatre Calendar'.

We look forward to meeting you all soon!
