Wilderness Medicine
Interested in mountain rescue? Want to know about expedition medicine? Leeds wilderness medicine society is a small friendly society that brings together people with an interest in medicine and the outdoors. Each year we hold a scenario weekend with a mountain rescue team, get in speakers with different specialities and do fun stuff like walks (to the pub…). We are also part of the national wilderness medicine society, which holds a conference annually. So if you are interested in first aid/pre-hospital care or just like going for pretty walks find us at intro fair, check out the facebook group or just come along!
