Welcome
The Leeds University Union Postgraduate Society (LUUP) is the society for postgraduates at the University of Leeds. We organise a series of events throughout the year designed to help you meet fellow postgraduates, make interesting and fun friends, and have an intellectually stimulating and enjoyable time during your studies here at Leeds. We meet every 1st Thursday of the month for informal drinks, and hold regular events on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
The programme for 2009/2010 is still being finalised, but promises to be full of fun, including open mic nights, cinema and theatre trips, football competitions, informal research presentations (given by members of the society), visits to the Henry Moore Institute, Harewood House, the Royal Armouries, and more. Check our website for more information on forthcoming events.
