Capoeira

Capoeira Angola is a rich cultural art form that incorporates elements of fight, dance, game play, self-expression, acrobatics, music and ritual. If you like the idea of a challenging learning experience involving music and movement rooted in Afro-Brazilian culture, or just a good workout, this is the club for you!

Capoeria club has stopped for the summer and currently has no committee for 2010/11. If you are a student in Leeds who is interested in taking their Capoeira knowledge to the next level, get in touch with either:

Jess Hawker on 0113 380 1412, unijjh@leeds.ac.uk OR

Rosh Malhotra on tr08rm@leeds.ac.uk.

You can find the Capoeira club on Facebook
