Terrace

The Terrace is now closed for the summer whilst major refurbishment works are being carried out. We apologise for the inconvienience caused throughout our closure. Below is a brief outline of the events, offers and promotions we continue to develop for the best student experience in Leeds.

About the Terrace

Situated in the heart of the Union building, Terrace is open during the day serving fair-trade coffee, chilled soft drinks, wines, spirits and beers. Taking its name from the huge outdoor terrace on offer, it’s a great place to pass a few hours during the day – especially when the sun is shining. When it’s not, inside there are pool tables, plasma TV screens, games machines and a chilled out soundtrack.
The relaxed atmosphere is transformed in the evenings when Terrace becomes a vibrant bar perfect for enjoying pre-club drinks.

Weekly Events

Dance Like Your Dad
The first Tuesday of every month.
The Terrace invites you to put on your Dad’s best jumper and come along to Dance Like Your Dad. With resident DJ Sam playing a mix of Motown, '50s and '60s pop, surf and soul, as well as anything else he can steal from his dad’s record cabinet this night is sure to entertain. Drinks offers on the night: Kronenbourg, G&T, JD & Coke and Brandy & Coke only £2 each.

LSR: Live
Every Thursday Night
LSR - Leeds Student Radio take over the Terrace playing some of the best music in the charts as well as taking requests and pulling out the golden oldies! There are fantastic giveaways such as free Fruity Tickets and fun competitions throughout the night!
If that doesn't tickle your taste buds then the cocktails definitely will. All night cocktails (glass) are 2 for £6 and (pitchers) are 2 for £13.

Freshly Squeezed
Every Friday
The weekend officially begins with Freshly Squeezed in the Terrace every Friday from 9pm – The Official warm up to Fruity. With free entry, resident DJ Si Mann and drinks from just £1.50 Freshly Squeezed is part of the biggest student night in Leeds.

PENT:HOUSE
Every Saturday
PENT:HOUSE is Leeds University Union's only weekly HOUSE and ELECTRO night, every Saturday night with free entry and drink offers. We get the best in House and Electro music provided by our resident DJs Simon Kuznetsov (NEON, PENT:HOUSE) and Andrew Duffy (PENT:HOUSE).
